We ordered this in december but the first crib we received was all scratched up. We returned this for a new one, after waiting for 14 days with my wife almost due with our baby I received an email from Amazon saying that they refunded our item since they could not deliver the order to our address (well how did we receive our first order then?). This was an extremely disappointing experience for us. I would have liked to reorder the item but now they jacked up the price again. You are better off getting this crib at a local store.

Dresser came damaged. My daughter fixed it with mighty putty because she didn’t want to deal with sending for parts.

I received this item 8/19/09 and opened it 2 days later after painting the nursery it was going in. Upon opening it I found every piece of wood scratched! All scratched revealed the brown wood color under the black paint. After being a loyal Amazon costumer, I would have never thought Amazon would not quality check their items they post. I have requested a full refund and I am hoping the transaction will be easy and smooth.

We have just bought and assembled this product. This is a solid wood product and not like softwood that some of crib manufacturers use. Assembly was very easy and product looks very stable after assembly. Although we are yet to start using this crib, this looks like a safe, stable and beautiful crib for our new baby due soon. I’ll recommend this product over Kalani’s one made of softwood.

We have not had our baby yet and been able to really utilize this crib yet. However, when it arrived in the mail everything was fine (no scratches). Took about 1/2 an hour to assemble. I was very impressed at how sturdy and structurally sound it was once we were done assembling it. For the money I couldnt be more happy with the quality and design.
I would recommend this crib if you are on a budget and want the look and feel of quality. Granted, we have not had our child in it yet so that is subject to change.
